About us
ŽOGARIJA
Žogarija is an international project which has for 19 years been firmly embodying one of our most important beliefs – that exercise, sports and football improve young people’s quality of life, self-confidence, health, enable socialization, empathy, and instill values like solidarity, honesty and responsibility and instigate changes in themselves, both in school and local communities, or even wider.
We are active in 9 countries: Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro, where we wish to organize events and convey the message of Žogarija primarily to pre-school and elementary school children.
19 YEARS OF ACTION
MEDIA ŠPORT in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, Radio-Television of Slovenia and Football Association of Slovenia has been organizing ŽOGARIJA sport event for nineteen years now. The main goal of this event is children’s socializing and fun, learning and meeting peers from different towns in the country and abroad, because we want to introduce the main motto of the event: FAIR PLAY – TAKE PART AND WIN SMART!
HYSICAL AND MENTAL ACTIVITIES
Children aged 7 to 14 can show their skills on a fenced football pitch playing 3 on 3 football, or have a go at skill games, beat their brains out in a knowledge quiz, take part in creative art workshops, prepare healthy meals or introduce themselves as singers, musicians, dancers or fans. We will by no means forget their companions, i.e. school representatives who can compete in a fun game called „You too, teachers“.
Kindergartens take part in every event because MINI ŽOGARIJA takes place simultaneously.
